McPhee currently stars in the hit CBS drama series Scorpion as Paige Dineen.
McPhee’s additional television credits include the ABC/Hallmark Hall of Fame television film In My Dreams, as well as guest-starring in the series CSI: NY, Community, and Family Guy. She was also featured on two PBS specials, Foster and Friends and Chris Botti in Boston, alongside Sting, Andrea Bocelli and John Mayer.
McPhee’s feature film credits include Shark Night 3D, You May Not Kiss the Bride, and The House Bunny.
In 2006, McPhee’s first single, “Somewhere Over the Rainbow/My Destiny,” debuted at #2 on Billboard’s Hot Singles Sales chart. Her self-titled debut album, which features the hit single “Over It,” landed at #2 on the Billboard 200 chart in 2007.
Her second album, Unbroken, was released in January 2010 and debuted at number 27 on the Billboard 200. The album featured the single, “Had It All.” A duet version of the album track, “Terrified,” was later released with former Chuck star, Zachary Levi.
Later in 2010, McPhee released her first Christmas album, Christmas Is the Time to Say I Love You, which covered many yuletide classics and featured an original Christmas song, “It’s Not Christmas Without You.” That year, her rendition of “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” also climbed the charts as a top-five holiday hit.
Hysteria, McPhee’s fourth studio album, was released in September 2015, featuring the single “Lick My Lips.” Writing and recording the album over a span of more than three years, Katharine collaborated with Ryan Tedder, Sia, Isabella Summers of Florence + the Machine, Jon Bellion, and more.
